Yes that is posible but requires some edits.

You can also go into admin panel, and go to -> Manage Languages. From there you can change some words to display by your own needs, or you can edit the join_form.html If you edit join_form.html - dont forget to make child folder and add it inside.

You GA code looks fine, maybe you need to wait a little bit for google to calculate all the data. About the gateway, go to your skins folder and find gateway.html and add inside your GA code. Make sure your edited file you add into child folder.

You can disable your GA plugin, and add inside head tags for more accurate statistics. If you are using gateway page, dont forget to add there too. And i think GA needs little time to start counting results, or you can go to REAL TIME statistics and you can preview.

Maybe someuser registered with your domain name ? So if you have example your website google.com and someone register with same name if you visit that site you will be redirected to gateway page.

I feel more comfortable without vote manager plugin, respect fair play. You can disable that plugin and test if it works.
