it looks like the issue with the screenshot server, I am working to resolve now.

The upgrade should not have any effect on screenshots. its been only a few hours since you posted... I see you have also sent an email and started a private conversation with me all the same duplicate requests. I will address your issue in the private conversation.

upgrade from 1.3 -> 1.4 went very fast and smooth on my lists :)

Interesting, that step should not be necessary but I will see what can do to streamline this in the future (perhaps run if exists -> unlink).

Outdated Twitter API url The API url of Twitter changed from api version 1, to 1.1 and this update has to be installed for the plugin to work again.

VL works just fine with https, though I have had 1 other person have an issue with it that we were unable to resolve. You might try manually deleting the old black screenshot, though that should not be necessary.

do you see the messages in the queue? what does the error say?

no there is no logging on the VL side, logging is left up to the webserver and mail server since both of those already log all transactions.

well since we know the mail is sitting in the queue, you really should be looking there for the answer. VisioList has handed of the mail to your mail server which is not sending it for some reason.

I was able to generate my own list screenshot just fine.

I don't think that would have anything to do with it, I'll test right now and see how it goes for me.

no idea either, I can see many screenshots rendering just fine at the moment. All I can see is zero requests have hit the screenshot server for EmpireDirectory.net all other requests seem to be rendering just fine (100+ screenshots rendered today).
