Karl, may it be that you have just set the number of days in admin? And have kept remain day value at 0? This would match to your issue. If remain day is 0, the next day the premium period check would deactivate his premium status because 0 days left

Ahh thats a little known issue which we hope to have fixed in 0.8. This is a side effect of having 2 active include html files functions ( one for main theme, 1 for admin ). As a temporary fix copy the html files of the plugin and paste them into skins/admin/ Let me know if that works
