What was the reason for the nofollow tag?

So google dont see you as a "pass pagerank" site.
While you are free to remove the tag, we do not suggest that. Google dont like sites where links are placed only to pass pagerank, and without nofollow it does look like it ( same goes with the premium members ). While this may be safe in a smaller context, it (could) get troublesome with a size of a toplist.
And with google getting smarter and smarter ( and a word i dont want to say here
) its best to follow their rules
