Hello VL community,
There must be a way to solve this problems from Google webmaster tools:
- Short meta description
- Short title description
All details pages ( in our case users ) if they write some short meta description google expert said best way to solve:
- Delete the pages
- Make no-index on that pages
So example if 5-10 members register on your website and from 10 users 5 are short description or title, we must delete them and you gonna have lots of lots of troubles and work to do, even if you write rules the users simply dont read them.
So is there a way maybe somehow to detect character count for description and give no-index to the users, or maybe if theres a plugin where we enter usernames and by entering username that pages gets no-index.
If you guys have some other solution, please share it - because it is a trouble really. John Mueller from google webmasters said - " its ok if you have 10-20-100 short pages, but having 1000-10.000 that will be a problem. "
