Screenshot Suggestion

Just a suggestion, but would it be possible to add in support for the WebThumbnail.org or Thumbshots.com API's?

This would allow people who don't continue to pay for support to still have access to thirdparty free screenshot services as well as allow people who opt to use these APIs to have new sites automatically generate a thumbnail vs having to do it via the AdminCP.

Once again, just a suggestion that would add some more options to the script.

Has nothing to do with the script at all. All these third parties require is a a html code from whem with a url tag applies to it. Feel free to add that to ur html instead of our screenshots

No I understand that, was just suggesting that it might be made an out of the box thing. You select which API you want to use and input the code and the script automatically adjusts to use whichever you picked. One of my forum site directory plugins does that and allows you to choose between 2 or 3 and its quite convenient. Not a big deal, just a suggestion.

Ohhh that you mean. That should not be to hard, your right. But... ( always an but ;) )
If someone decide not to use our product anymore actively or even uses a hacked copy from somewhere, why should we bother to give these guys an easier time? )
Also we try to provide fast loading times, external images would destroy that again

this feature will not be included for the reasons mentioned above.

Also because in the past 10 years more than 20 of these services have come and gone, none of these 3rd party services seem to last very long due to the high bandwidth usage, and its a service that is nearly impossible for them to monetize. This is infact the reason we built our own in-house system that never loads remote images and we dont need to worry about generating ad revenue to keep the service alive. $30 per year to keep us updating the product, creating new features, and includes gigantic screenshots is a small price to pay for a serious toplist owner. :)
