multiple categories (tags)

http://apexwebgaming.com/ has a nice tags system in their sidebar, where you can not just choose the category, but also filter by the other custom join fields, such as type, price, time, graphics, etc...

this is really great because listings are more likely to show up on one of the front pages; if they dont make the top 10 of all listings, they might make the top 10 in their niche, and be happy.

is this kind of thing easy to implement, or is there a plugin available?

As a plugin doable yes, but that thing is custom coded, something like that would be so different on each list, that generalizing isnt really doable. At least in the current scope of visioilist

Yes, properbly would have time during the weekend, pretty booked until then. FTP, admin, url and info which are your fields for the sorting is needed.
