At the moment i have the option to set a custom description & keywords for:
My Categories & Main site page

Unfortunately the main site Description is being used on all pages on my site besides site stat pages, is there any way to set individual description & keywords for custom pages created in visiolist or have the automatic description like we have on the stat pages as it's quite bad for SEO having the same description & keywords for multiple pages

I will add fields to the custom pages so we can add custom keywords and description.

Paginated Ranking pages are not indexed
Sorted rankings are not indexed
user_cp pages are not indexed (other than the login)

so custom pages is really the only place we might have an issue with duplicate meta description, easy enough to solve. Consider this done either for 0.9 or the next update to the SEO plugin

Since i as good as never use it, iam not sure what you mean. But there should be a html button where you can the source of what is written

If you have the latest seo plugin it has ids applied to the html which you can put into css

seo_main_h2 - the h2 for main page
seo_cat_h2 - h2 category page
seo_cat_p - category description

style lkike this for example

Short Question: How to edit the meta Keywords and Description for the home page?

Download the Seo plugin, then you will have 2 new fields in admin settings -> general tab
