Following the news that google are or are planning to give search ranking credit to sites that have https encryption, has anyone doing or thinking of doing this?

Someone here had made https, was working just fine, change your list url to https, and a bit of htaccess to redirect http to https.

Seems you need a dedicated IP address for it to work properly.

Yeah that is the worst part about a push to https all websites, it's totally unnecessary for most sites and there are only so many ip addresses to go around... Until ipv6 blocks are universally accepted anyway.

Yeah it will work just fine, ive checked the user website who had https, but looks like his website is shut down.

Also you need to double check all your links, custom pages to redirect to https

It was me. I had to buy a dedicated IP to use HTTPS. I had SSL for a year but there is really no difference. So I went back to HTTP. http://www.top100-mmorpg.com/
