go to admin -> settings and add your screenshot API key. then add a site to your list then visit your admin panel and generate the screenshot (should see a 1 on the main start page in admin)

I agree, it would be nice. The skins are quite easy to make (most people make their own, its juts HTML). Time is limited, since developing the core is my main focus that is where the energy goes, skins need to be created, supported, and maintained. It adds up to a lot more time than 1 might...

With the huge todo list I have, colors and style in the admin section is really not going to be a priority. Once more urgent issues and some of the great feature requests are dealt with I can look at updating the admin panel but I think most users (and I could be wrong) would rather see...

1.6 will be bug fixes, optimizations, and new default theme. the admin area was not really a priority, it's functional and very few people ever see it, but eventually it will be updated. If there is a specific part of the admin you really dislike, feel free to mention what part and I will see...

You need active members area license in order to use our screenshot server.

I am able to login fine on my lists. Perhaps contact your host and ask them if any changes have been made to the environment recently, also tail the error log in real time so you can see what the server is reporting when it fails.

Nope. that plugin is working 100% with VL 1.5 and I see no mysql style queries anywhere in that plugin. Try disabling your VoteMessage plugin and install fresh, then see if the error persists. I'm thinking perhaps your VoteMessage plugin has been customized and that customization is not...
