agree with Basti, the best ways to get more "incoming traffic" for me have been: 1. eye catching animated banner with call to action like "click here to vote for us" 2. tell your new members (in welcome mail) to add the button "above the fold" and encourage their visitors to click that button...

just an update to the SVN scene... I received notification today that "BerliOS" which is the repository where aardvark topsites is hosted, will be closed permanently Dec 31-2011. BerliOS will be missed, I suspect to see an influx of projects at Github.

Indeed, the only language abstraction available now is English, VL 0.1 will load english first, then load whatever language you have set in the admin panel but I will need to find people to help translate into French and other main languages in the next week or so.
