Suggestions for hardcore improvements (version 1.0)

1. Multilanguage capability (user/guest can choose from home page).
2. Standalone screenshot server generator capability.
3. More selectable "Premium" futures: buy vote points (VERY handy future).
4. "Add funds to your balance" future.
5. UserZone: invoice management, basic support tickets (if any problem with listing, user can report directly).
6. "Report" button for incorect listing/site.
7. Capability to upgrade system via AdminPanel.
8. More Web 2.0 and ofcourse less mySQL queryes for hardcore site visiting.
9. MySQLi / PostgreSQL support.
10. More support for game server top list's (server status check, custom fields).
11. MySQL table optimizer from Admin area.

Hope those suggestions will be coded in near future .

2. what you mean? you want topsites admin to create own server for screenshots?? Whats wrong with how its done currently? little confused ( might come from language )
3. To be considered, though this is still a toplist and not a give me money and go to top. You have the ability to give hits in boost for premium. Price your premium according to that and the visual effects. Defenetly not priority
4. depending on #3, but i like this. Could also be used for a kind of premium subscription instead of buying again each time

For #2:

How screenshot generator works? Is image saved localy to top site server or loading remotely from visiolist server? Standalone screenshot taking capability is a plus if images loading remotely from other server then top site server. I guess busy top site page will generate enormous bandwidth to remote server .

You request a screenshot api key from with the admin settings ( licence order number needed ) which will be approved by us ( may take a few hours depending if Mark sleeps or not )

You can generate screenshots for members all at once, or member after member. Or a user requests to update/generate his screenshot

The screenshot capturing is done by a server from us. And the toplist script will copy thee images over to your ftp while generating.
So the images displayed are loaded from your server.
This is a plus - faster loading time for your site - no forever loading images if the external image source cant be reached.
If the screenshots were loaded by our server, we could not afford a screenshot service for the price of script. The cost for bandwidth would be to enormous

Now, when script was fully investigated, providing more suggestions:

1. WYSIWYG editor for "Description" field.
2. If no image generated, default thumbnail is placed.
3. CRON to generate new added sites images (hourly/daily).
4. When hit site description, new window open, not the same (user must stay in webpage!).
5. Turn off/on pop-up ability (it's black and kind of nasty).
6. Ability add images near category title.
7. Ability to put different badges on listing for premiums.

More suggestions comes in near future when script will be deployed in production environment.

1. This will most likely not be included. We dont allow html for users description. Hence such editor dont make much sense
2. Hard to create such a check. For that reason we placed a reload ( try again ) in the screenshot generation window
3. No, to server intensive for our screenshot server. If done so we would need to charge for this service.
But ive planned to automatical place a "xx screenshots are waiting to be approved" on the main admin page, similar to the " there are xx members to be approved". So each time a member joins you are notified to take screenshot for these. Once clicked generate.
Have this already implemented on my own list and it works really well.
