Checking for dead links or sites

As I have inactive members removed from public view after this many days set to 0 as I also have sites listed that do not link back. Is there an easy way of checking for dead links or sites to remove them without checking each one manually? I used to use the inactive function for this as the sites would be set to inactive and I just had to go through those.

hmm a couple of choices:

a) create a plugin to check members sites response code
b) set inactive members removed from public view to 7 days and enable pageviews - that will generate a list of inactive members.

Option A would be a better choice for me as I would still have to go through quite a few marked as inactive sites to see which are dead or not. If this plugin can be done could you give me a quote to do it.

Unclutter 0.1 is ready

I am sure this one will evolve over time to be faster and more efficient but its a start
