What to do with a deface?

This is a quick question, what do you do if you ever get defaced? And if you backup you .sql file, how would you reupload it again?

Hire a server admin or use google to research and learn how to admin a web server.

This has nothing to do with VisioList.

yes, that is what a deface is, someone gained access to your server and replaced your content with theirs.

your server was probably rooted.. nothing for us to patch, talk to your server admin for more info.

I'm not defaced. I'm just asking, because a website abusewith.us is going around defacing & hacking websites. So I want to get this cleared before anything trys to come to my toplist, or any other toplist currently with Visiolist.

http://nvd.nist.gov/ - take a look at that... as you can see its a huge list of website scrips with security holes and how to exploit them... THAT is how you warn people, not by linking to hackers website from here.. I am going to remove your link and close this silly topic.
