Toplist not sorted properly.

I have the toplist set to 'sort by in votes' and the value is Unique in. I believe it is done by weekly rather then monthly votes, could you explain how to change this?

Admin panel -> Change Settings -> Rankings Settings - >

• Ranking Period - Monthly
• Ranking Method - IN
• Rank by average or by just this month - This Month

The ranking is correct, but your template tags in the rankings files are not. You placed them manually, dunno the {$unq_in_0_weekly} or whatever you used.
And since you placed them manually you also need to update your tags once you change your ranking period
