I got the welcome mail and a password reset email, so looks like you got it solved

I don't think I did anything... all I did was add the folder you told me to.

The email thing is partially fixed. I'm still not receiving a notification email that people have signed up.

I talked to my host and they said everything looked like it was set up correctly for my account as far as SMTP and PHP sendmail.
