Fresh install of v1.8 - 500 error only on link_code?

I have just done a fresh install of v1.8

While going thru the various functions of the script I have noticed some reason navigating to "Link Code" (?a=user_cpl&b=link_code) in the user control panel results in a server error 500? no other page appears to have this issue from what I can see and user edit, banner upload etc functions all appear working fine?

hello, can you check your "images" folder and see if an empty folder called "extra" exists?

if not, please create it and you should be all set.
