first time installing, blank screen after inputting db info

Hello,

I downloaded visiolist 0.8 from the link i got in order mail.
uploaded to server changed permissions to some files and folder as specified in install doc.
created new database and tried to install.
but i get blank screen at installation

i checked error log i found following lines.

[Sun Nov 11 19:17:20 2012] [error] [client 117.219.242.33] File does not exist: /home/privatyz/public_html/css/ui/jquery-ui-1.8.9.custom.css, referer: http://privateservers.in/install/index.php?import=1

i checked css/ui folder and there is only file named jquery-ui-1.8.12.parabola.css and two other folders.

is some files missing in zip file, I donwloaded from ordermail? zipfile name is Install-0.8.zip

please help

strange, have not had any reported issues with fresh installs. Can you start a private conversation with me and provide FTP login, your MySQL credentials, and domain name?
 
Usually the browser does not matter, can you check your error log? There must be something else going on.

I have same problem as h3rb.
I use Chrome to browsing and installing the program.

I change the browser to Opera. It work.

Very very odd. Thanks for the report, we will investigate and see if we can reproduce this ( maybe some specific browser setting of chrome you have )
