Disable registration of U/P

Hi all,

Just wondering if its possible to disable the registrationform with username and password, and let the user only fill in their website and some description/category/mail and so on.... As far I can see, the code generated after registration is include the username to track which user it is.

Is there any possible ways to instead use some generated numbers/first letters in the email and a number at the ending, instead of the username in the tracking-code?

Would be soo awesome if there is a solution!

nope, not possible. At least not without hacking the code all over the place, the username is the key for each record.

You could create a random user/password that could be used behind the scenes though, that would absolutely work.
