button code

Hey
I want my members to automatically get the code they have to put on their website to but the button on it when they sign up - ideally right wehn they sign up, but if not, at least in an email as soon as I approve them.
However, this is not being done. even though it says my members get an email with details when I approve them I tested it and we get no email.

what is wrong?

first off, make sure you active the possible button options in admin settings, else the link codes are blank.
If you want to get them the code right after signup check that you dont have "approve members before being listed" set to on. For that it need to be off.

As for your email, first off ask your host php's sendmail is enabled. Most likely not

I managed to make email work!
however, once I made it that we don't need to approve new members as you suggested, then whenever i try to let people join i get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@topjewish.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Most likely an error of a plugin i would guess, that is if you havent touched any code yourself.
Try to disable plugins one by one to see if its one of them.
Could think of screenshots, or facebook who might could cause this. However by default they dont.

I did not touch any code. Tried without the screenshots plugin and it didnt work. The facebook plugin is not installed

I tested again and I saw that it works when I Require new members to be approved before being listed then it works, but I don't want to require them!

what is the problem?

I really need this to work, and I paid for it... it should not be giving me this trouble..

I put it back there.. maybe you can troubleshoot by trying to add a website? (it is still not launched so i don't mind you doing some tests)

btw- when i get the error message, the new member is added and i even get an email saying a new member joined.. but afterwards i get the error

Nothing is without bugs

If you could pm me your ftp data i could have a look in the file and enable error reporting. Maybe i can spot the issue.
