#1 site load slow

Hi,

The #1statistics site at my list load very slow. Any idea?

My first guess would be the rss feed, slow site from where it grabs. Try to disable the plugin and see if it speeds up

Yes, you are right. Could we implement at cutoff time or any thing else to bypass it. I have big intention for my setup så I need a robust solution. Maybe ping would be better?

While i never tried that, i believe thats possible, yes. Ill give it try tomorrow.

hmm RSS feeds should be cached for instant retrieval, can you check your /cache/ folder and ensure files are being created there with the feed data?


edit: ahh I see its just that one site.

Yes it does. It only occour for two sites.

interestingly when I add that feed URL to the dev site it loads quickly. http://visiolist.com/d/dev/?a=stats&u=osempire

But I also noticed your using a different feed URL from the one I found on their website. Could you PM me the URL you are using so I cant test further?

I found the root RSS feed and confirmed its loading very fast, not sure what might be the cause in your environment.
