eMail Notification Question

How are email notifications sent for pending signups and reviews? I am no longer receiving notifications and am not sure where to look to investigate. I've tested the email address, listed in the admin panel, to which the emails should be sent, and it's working fine (both sending & receiving); however, nothing when a new user signs up.

Check you mail, i just replied to you. The fault is your local address for sure, something wrong there as it not seem to recieve mails from itself. Made myself a test account and the email arrived just fine.

Was curious what email service you're using to send SMTP emails. Because I've dealt with an issue before with Sebastian where the receiving end with @YAHOO.com addresses, wouldn't receive the email.

Yea that was an annoying one. But here it was stadart php mail, host changed something and it worked again, dont know what though.
